Taxonomy: precise analysis criteria published
On November 21, 2023, technical examination criteria for determining under which conditions certain economic activities can be considered to contribute substantially to climate change mitigation or adaptation, and whether these activities do not cause significant harm to any of the other environmental objectives, were published in the Official Journal of the European Union (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2485).
Another delegated regulation (2023/2486) has been published concerning criteria for the sustainable use and protection of aquatic and marine resources, the transition to a circular economy, the prevention and reduction of pollution, or the protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems, and if this economic activity does not cause significant harm to any of the other environmental objectives.
