FR - Regulatory reporting by asset management companies: the AMF calls for greater rigor

The AMF has published the results of a SPOT (Supervision des Pratiques Opérationnelle et Thématique) inspection campaign on the production, control, and transmission to the AMF of regulatory reporting. The findings show that asset management companies need to be more vigilant about the quality of the data they transmit.
Several examples of best practice are highlighted in this summary to reinforce the system analysed. However, the AMF stresses the high number of anomalies observed, and calls for a significant and rapid reinforcement of the control system in place to produce these reports.
