ELTIF review - Publication in the Official Journal of the European Union

On 20 March 2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/606 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2023 amending the initial ELTIF Regulation (EU) 2015/760 has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The entry into force of the new rules under the amended ELTIF Regulation will be Saturday, 8 April 2023. In turn, the entry into application of these rules will accordingly be 10 January 2024. The amended ELTIF Regulation sets out the requirements pertaining to the investment policies and operating conditions of ELTIF, as well as the scope of eligible investment assets, the portfolio composition and diversification requirements and the borrowing of cash and other fund rules.
