IR: publication S.I. on European Union (Digital Operational Resilience) Regulations 2025

On 20 February 2025, the Department of Finance of Ireland published a Statutory Instruments on the implementation of DORA.
The regulations are designating the CBI as the competent authority for enforcing DORA in Ireland. The Regulations grant the CBI all the powers necessary for the performance of its functions and duties under DORA and these Regulations
These changes reinforce the CBI’s enforcement capabilities and emphasise the importance of operational resilience in Ireland’s financial sector.
