CSDR: Technical standards publication on 20 February 2025

On 20 February 2025, ESMA published technical standards on various aspects of the review of the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR)
Including on (i) the information to be provided by European CSDs to their national competent authorities for the review and assessment process and on (ii) the criteria for assessing the importance of European CSDs in a host Member State.
The technical standards are presented in three separate final reports containing the draft technical standards which have been submitted to the European Commission for adoption.
