Head of Legal for Post-Trade Services

Francois-Louis Tournié is at the head of post-trade services legal division within Société Générale Group's Legal Department dedicated to Société Générale Securities Services (two teams based in Paris and Nantes), including securities services provided for international financial institutions and brokers (local and global custody, sub-custody, clearing), asset managers and owners (depositary-trustee, financing) retail customers, issuers/corporate and employee savings.

He began within Société Générale as a legal adviser in 2004, specifically for:

Account keeping and custody of securities,
Tax services,
Corporate actions,
Exchange transactions,
Subscription, purchase or holding of financial instruments,
Employee savings,
Financial services for issuers (general meetings, accounts keeping of registered shares, stock option plans and free shares allocations…)
Retail custody outsourcing for investment service providers and their customers.
Then, in 2008, Francois-Louis Tournié took the head of issuer and retail securities services department within Société Générale Group's Legal Department dedicated to Société Générale Securities Services for retail post-trade services (exchange transactions, custody operations, corporate actions, tax services), financial services for issuers/corporate and employee savings.
