LU - Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) required for all issuers operating on LuxSE

On 10 August 2017, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) has announced that all issuers (including not only domestic issuers but also foreign issuers).

On 10 August 2017, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) has announced that all issuers (including not only domestic issuers but also foreign issuers) operating on the LuxSE’s regulated market or on its multilateral trading facility (Euro MTF) must provide their LEI Code to the LuxSE before 15 September 2017.

An LEI is a 20-characters reference code designated to a single legal entity in accordance with the ISO 17442 standard, which allows an interested party to easily identify legal entities and funds participating in financial markets transactions.
