Transfer Agent of the Year 2017
SGSS is delighted to be recognized as Transfer Agent of the Year at the 2017 Custody Risk Awards in London.
The judges cited SGSS’s prominent level of quality standards for its Transfer Agent services, its capacity to innovate and launch new products to meet client needs, its continued industry participation and dynamic development over the last 12 months. This has been reflected in new mandates, renewal of significant existing client business and widespread coverage of key European markets for domiciliation (Luxembourg, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy).
SGSS also covers one of the largest scopes of vehicles from traditional UCITS to specific alternatives products such as art and forest funds, real estate and private equity.
In terms of innovation and investment in new technology / infrastructure, the last year saw the launch of Synapse in Italy, a new service to support fund distribution and improve accessibility and efficiency to a network of multiple counterparties.
Following the acquisition of Pioneer Investments by Amundi (July 2017), SGSS’ Transfer Agency developed a Cross Selling Agent service to enable its clients’ investors to subscribe to Amundi’s and Pioneer’s range of funds. Clients benefit from a larger distribution network, easy operational set up and low cost, extended reporting and a single-entry point for investors.
SGSS continues to support its clients with continuing changes in technology and transformation, by remaining highly involved in working groups dedicated to distribution and fund platforms and participation in strategic projects with local consortium and Fintech.
