Sylvie Bonduelle has been working in the post trade environment for over 20 years where she has held various positions in IT, Production and presently Public Affairs.

She holds a degree from the ENSIIE, a French IT engineering school. After beginning her career in an IT company operating in the securities services industry, she joined a French investment bank and its brokerage subsidiary. In 1993, Sylvie entered Societe Generale Group as Project Team Manager to implement a General Clearing offer through PAREL, a SG subsidiary. In 2001, she was appointed Head of the back-office teams for cash equities and derivatives of the General Clearing Member and held this position until 2011, when she joined the Regulatory Projects Department of SGSS.

Within the Regulatory Watch team, she is in charge of the follow-up and analysis of regulatory and industry initiatives related to the post trade activity and to financial market infrastructures, currently MIF2, EMIR and EMIR review, CSDR, FTT, CCP recovery and resolution or ECMS (the ECB’s collateral project).

Sylvie is a member of several trade associations’ permanent working groups (AFME, ICMA, AFTI, AMAFI).

Sylvie has been involved in the settlement discipline topic since 2005, when she chaired the French Market Disciplines working group (AFTI). Since 2014, Sylvie has been participating actively to the work undertaken by trade associations in relation to CSDR (AFME, ICMA, AFTI, Swift) and she is a member of the T2S CSDR Task Force (ECB) since 2016.
