Jean Pierre Gomez ist Head of Regulatory & Public Affairs bei Société Générale Securities Services in Luxemburg. In dieser Funktion ist er für die Entwicklung der Geschäftsstrategie und die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit von SGSS in Luxemburg verantwortlich.

Er hat 25 Jahre Erfahrung in der Investmentfondsbranche. Vor seinem Wechsel zu SGSS im Jahr 2009 hatte Jean Pierre Gomez mehrere Führungspositionen in den Bereichen kollektive Kapitalanlagen, Depot- und Fondsverwaltung inne. Er arbeitete zudem drei Jahre lang als Berater und Geschäftsführer mehrerer Fondsverwaltungsgesellschaften und Fonds.

In seiner beruflichen Laufbahn konnte er erhebliche und umfassende Erfahrungen im Kundenmanagement sammeln, die ein breites Spektrum von Fondsverwaltungsdienstleistungen (einschließlich Kerndienstleistungen von Depotstellen, Fondsbuchhaltung und Transferstellen) sowie Compliance und Fondsdienstleistungen für Firmenkunden abdecken.

Er leistet einen aktiven Beitrag zu den Arbeitsgruppen ALFI, LPEA und LuxReal, den luxemburgischen Fachverbänden der Fondsbranche, die Luxemburg als wichtigstes europäisches Zentrum für Investmentfonds fördern wollen. Darüber hinaus ist er als Dozent am Luxembourg Institute for Training in Banking (IFBL) tätig und hält regelmäßig Vorträge bei internationalen Seminaren und Konferenzen.
