Get to know the five members of the SGSS Executive Committee
Bruno Prigent has been Head of Societe Generale Securities Services since October 2011.
After working for 4 years as IT project manager for an IT services company (SG2), Bruno Prigent joined the Societe Generale group in 1984 where he initially spent 7 years with the Inspection Générale.
He subsequently held a number of different positions within the securities division: Head of fund administration, Head of Depot bank, Head of securities for institutional investors (from June 2000 until June 2008) and Deputy Head of Societe Generale Securities Services (from July 2008 to September 2011).
He is a member of the Group Management Committee of Societe Generale.
Bruno Prigent is president and administrator of several additional boards of directors in France and of SGSS’ entities abroad.
Bruno Prigent has a master’s degree in information technology (MIAGE) from Paris IX Dauphine.
Florence Barbieri is Chief Administrative Officer and supervises SGSS’ support functions, as well as Societe Generale’s interests in S2E, a joint-venture for employee savings plans.
Florence joined Societe Generale in 2006 where she held the position of Senior Credit Risk Auditor until 2010, within the Risk Management Division. Between 2010 and 2014, she was the coordinator for our business line and manager of the SGSS audit team within the Inspection and Audit Division. She was named CAO of SGSS in June 2014.
Florence is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques (Institute for Political Studies) in Paris and has two Master’s Degrees, in Management Sciences and Business Law. She began her professional career in 1991 at BDA Deloitte & Touche and then joined Mazars before moving into the banking sector. Between 1997 and 2006, she worked in the Paribas Risk Management Division followed by the General Inspection at BNP Paribas.
Christophe Baurand is Head of Coverage, Marketing and Solutions and a member of SGSS’s Executive Committee.
Christophe Baurand began his career at Societe Generale in 1993. For 13 years he occupied a number of positions at SG CIB, including a role in sales at the equity derivatives desk for the French market. He became Head of equity derivatives in Switzerland in 1999 and for the Benelux area from 2002.
From 2003 to 2006, he was Head of Sales for alternative investment products. In 2006, Christophe Baurand joined Lyxor as Head of Sales and Marketing for alternative investments and in 2012 was appointed Head of Alternative Investments and Director of Development, in charge of the international supervision of sales and marketing for Lyxor products.
Christophe Baurand is a graduate of the ESCP Business School and has a Masters in Finance from the ESSEC Business School.
Didier Rolland is Global Head of Securities Banking Operations and a member of the Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) Executive Committee.
After working for two years with the inspection team for the Paris stock market, Didier joined the Societe Generale group in 1990 as an internal controller for stock brokerage activities. He went on to hold various positions within this business line, including the role of Chief Operating Officer which he held until 2007. Didier also participated in a project to develop market activities in Russia, before joining the Corporate and Investment Bank’s Operations Department in early 2009 where he was appointed global head of the departments in charge of Client and Business support.
Didier Rolland holds a business degree from the École Supérieure de Commerce in Reims.
Olivier Blanc is Global Head of Fund Services Operations and a member of SGSS' Executive Committee.
Before joining the SGSS teams, Olivier was Audit Officer for the Group's French Retail Banking activities (RBDF) and its International Retail Banking activities (IBFS France and Africa).
He joined Societe Generale in 1990 as part of the Capital Markets department, where he held various positions (operations, risk management, project management, COO of various business lines, management control) in France, the United States and South Africa, before moving to the Group's Risk Division in 2008 as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.
Olivier has a postgraduate degree in organisational IT from the Montpellier University Faculty of Science and is a graduate of Montpellier Business School.
